NO, we transition from daylight to darkness at about six minutes per day. June 20th is summer solstice so after that we begin losing daylight and December 21st is winter solstice so we begin gaining daylight. December 21st; we will have 4hrs-33min of daylight if we have clear sky's (usually not at this time of year, mostly cloudy and foggy, the local term is "socked in") sun rise in Tok is 10;14am and sunset at 2:47pm  From our home in Tok because of the mountains and terrain we don't actually see the sun for about one month. June 20th; we will have 20hrs-33 minutes of sunlight Sun rise is 2:17am and sunset is 10:50pm with civil twilight factored in that means we will not see actual darkness for over two months.

How can we pray for you and the ministry?

NLM is a faith based ministry so we always pray for the daily operating needs to be met. Shelly and I along with our volunteer staff and interns work really long hours so please pray for our strength and health, And mostly importantly for wisdom and leadership from God as we do our best to continually build relationships and disciple people.
